The ME, covered with bookbinding paper, is a classical model similar to the children's kaleidoscopes of the 19th century.

 

The interior decorated with flowers and mellow colours creates infinite imaginary bouquets.

The exterior of the Amélie is more flowery and bright that the bookbinding paper of the ME, and its inside colours are also more vivid. It is both more colourful and less romantic than the ME.
